Isn’t that a strange little non-word phonetic thing? Mmmm..reminds me of either a contemptible-individual trying to deliever what they hope to be a cutting remark but feigning a moment to think (and I’m using the word “think” very loosely) or Homer Simpson’s drooling over a donut. That’s how I see it, anyhow.
So…choosing the more delicious of the two…things that make me go Mmmm.
- Finally resting in my husbands arms
- A kiss on the cheek by any of my children
- A kind note from a friend
- An unexpected and pleasant offer of prayer from a complete stranger
- The scent of a good afternoon rainstorm
- Going to bed when the pillow and blankets are just right
- The sound of the shofar
- The heat from a hot apple cider
- The taste of incredibly if not sinfully dark chocolate
- The smell of a big homey meal
- The release of a Sabbath rest
- The pleasure of discovering a new, robust taste
- A nuzzel from my cat in the still dark morning
- The overpowering scent of a Blue Spruce pine tree
- The knowledge of Truth
- The sensation of the kiss goodnight
