Torah=Word=Messiah (equal, not equivalent)
It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) If you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words? (John 5:46-47) So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD. (Deuteronomy 8:3) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (John 1: 1-5)
Should have been a sticky post
May 29, 2007 by tookshire
I’m brand new to WordPress.com. and have been on a very long and unsatisfying journey in an attempt to find a blog spot of my very own. There is always a draw back to even some of the very nicest of freebies. Trial and error.
Before advertising this site, I’m filling it up with my old Tookshire posts from around the webworld. I used to primarily only have two places, one at Xanga which I commonly referred to as “Vintage Tookshire” since it was, in fact, my first blog. The next was held until recently at Typepad, which became too expensive for me, and I never quiet was able to grasp/use the goodies for which I obtained with the higher-class subscription. In the future, “Vintage Tookshire” will be used for both and can be found as it’s own slot on the WordPress Category list on the side of this current space.
Once I “spread the word” to my regular readers and friends, I’ll delete this front page. It’s basically up for any poor fella who wanders in here and wonders “who is this?” I thought I understood the whole “sticky” post trick rather than having to use a whole loop page thingee…but my knowledge of other blog universes didn’t transfer.
How I operate (not necessarily up on the blog-etiquette):
I rarely answer my mail…but I do check comment sections…so if you leave a comment requesting (or inspiring) are response from myself, book mark the page, and I’ll get back to you there. I don’t do emails in a timely manner (and hate doing them in association with a blog), so that’ll be the only form of two-way communication…I don’t believe in visiting your blog and doing the “RYC” thing here. I think it smacks of “hey everyone here, come on over and look at me” like your i-home is a place for free advertisement.
Cool beans.
